Modern life places heavy demands on all aspects of our health. Homeopathy offers a way to restore the vitality we often lose—both physically and emotionally—due to chronic stress. It helps reestablish ownership of our bodies, balance our health, and enhance our overall well-being.

I have successfully treated numerous cases of chronic autoimmune illnesses, which encompass a wide range of conditions and diagnoses, as well as post-viral and chronic fatigue syndromes. Additionally, I have extensive experience helping individuals manage long-term chronic anxiety and low mood. As a dedicated family practitioner, I have worked with both children and adults throughout my long career.

Various studies testify that Homeopathy has a much higher uptake in women health.

My expertise lies particularly in supporting women with hormonal and menstrual conditions, fertility challenges, pregnancy, menopause, and mental health. These areas have been the focus of many years of practice and remain a major source of referrals. I am proud to have achieved successful outcomes for countless women seeking care in these areas."

A dedicated educator, Maggie has lectured at the Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE) for over 20 years and taught at other UK colleges, as well as running  a series of seminars for postgras both in the UK and in New York. She is passionate about the role of clinical experience in developing Homeopathic expertise, believing that evidence from  being in practice must be at the heart of all Homeopathy teaching

In more recent years I have become increasingly focused on mental health and the stress and anxiety associated with sensory over load, isolation and burn out associated with life in the fast lane of the 20th century.

These conditions include Depressive spectrum symptoms Overwhelm and Burn out symptoms Anxiety related symptoms and Obsessive thought symptoms This has been reflected by many rewarding outcomes for patients who are happy to give testimony on my website.

I am a lecturer, mentor and supervisor at the Centre for Homeopathic Education. I regularly hold seminars on a range of topical and specialist subjects both here in the UK and in New York to both undergraduates and practising Homeopaths.

Homeopathy has been the most inspirational discovery of my life and my enthusiasm has grown year on year, based on the many successful outcomes I have witnessed over this time.

I am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths which means that I take the letters RSHom after my name.  This means that I am on the largest  Professional Registering body for Homeopaths in the UK. which demonstrates commitment to high professional standards, enhancing safety and delivering a better service to people who wish to include Homeopathy as part of their health care.

My Own Personal Experience

Homeopathy came as a bit of a shock. I had no previous experience of any alternative medicine before homeopathy and thought it was a 'hippy thing' without any real substance.

I worked in the Health Service for many years and had never encountered Homeopathy.

A mum at my local NCT group suggested giving my 9-month-old teething son a homeopathic remedy (Chamomilla) instead of the usual Calpol. The effects were almost immediate. I was extremely sceptical but after giving my baby several doses over the next few days I was convinced. I also tried remedies myself: in a desperate moment of exhaustion, run down with the demands of juggling three young children and a job, I took a remedy (Sepia) and felt rejuvenated within 24 hours.

Experience is the main validation of homeopathy's effectiveness and its effects on both my son and me convinced me. I started to use homeopathy more and more with all the family and was amazed by the results. I used lots of first aid remedies, Arnica for bumps and bruises and Apis was amazing when my daughter was stung be a bee. Slowly we switched our focus from being treated by our GP with chemical drugs to using homeopathy as our main source of healthcare.

In 1996 I made a life changing decision to train as a Homeopath and redirect my professional commitment in Health to practising this wonderful Holistic medicine.

Homeopathy involves a deeper investigation into why someone becomes ill, and what influences can make someone more  susceptible to ill health.

Homeopathy has filled  the space that was missing for me in conventional medicine. To quote Aristotle’s wisdom , I’ve always believed that as humans and as “whole beings” we are so much greater than the sum of our parts. You cannot isolate illness to one part without considering how it has impacted on the whole person. You don’t have to limit your options to opting to stay in or out of conventional treatment. Why not widen your options adding Homeopath to your treatment choices.  Most people agree that it is beneficial to reduce the amount of medication you take and Homeopathy can really help you do this.

The only reason I do what I do is because Homeopathy works and people I have treated over my many years in practice have benefitted enormously from this medicine.

Homeopathy widens your Horizons. Many of my patients are also receiving conventional medicine for long term conditions. There is a huge opportunity to see Homeopathy being used effectively alongside conventional treatment.
